I want to be part of burning man but find it a bit complicated?. I don't know how I'm going to do it. I Think I wood like to know somebody To meat up with ore something. What I can contribute with kind of depends on how I'm going to go. Any help ???
I don't have a drivers licence and so I cant drive myself. I have never been to U.S.A before.

Maybe it is not possible. Anyone who want to help?
I can't do it alone.
Regards Esben

Welcome!!
Do you have a passport to travel? If you can get an international driver's license, that would be a big help to you.
All you have to do is fly to Reno, NV and set up a ride from there. A little later in the season, the ride share thread will become more active.
You can do all the shopping you need in Reno. There are all sorts of stores to get everything from tents, sleeping bags, air mattress, food and supplies.
You may also check to see if there are any burner groups local to you or in a neighboring country.

I would like to add, that although the effort to come to Burning Man may be huge for you, but it is so worth it to get there. Give it your best shot and we'll see you on the playa!

Welcome Esben.

I've heard of Christiania.
I think if you can handle that, you can manage burning man.
I think it's important to try to find out if it's for you before you make the trip.

Certain difficulties are created by long distance, but it can be done.

I strongly suggest that you make contact with an established,
experienced theme camp. People from many nations attend
Burning Man. My own village/camp has hosted people from Australia,
Britain, France and Switzerland, even though most of us are
from the midwest/eastern areas of the US.

San Francisco is about 6 to 7 hours from Burning Man. Two hours east of San Francisco is a city called Sacramento. There are still plenty of rental vehicles to be found if you can some how get a ride to Sacramento. Greyhound Buses will take you for around $25 round trip from San Francisco. Sacramento is on the way to Burning Man so you wouldn't be backtracking at all.
