Does anyone else find themselves yelling "Burning Man" for no reason at the oddest times? It just kinda pops out!

[quote="dustforlife"]Does anyone else out there think about Burningman every day? I am obsessed with it…not complaining, mind you, but definitely wondering if there is something wrong with me? So many things in my everyday life I recognize as “coolâ€
I have post playa depression :(

I answered yes to more than two questions. The "lottery/what I'd bring to burning man" connection pretty much puts the seal on that case.

yes, I use the company graph paper to design my tent/space layout. Of course, on the clock... I think of it as upcycling my time.

Thrift store shopping during a visit to San Francisco in December; paying for a pile of interesting clothing.
Clerk:" Shopping for Burning Man?"
Us: " Aren't we always?"
Clerk:*big grin*

Any time we have a party at our house, inevitably, at some point in the evening, the planning meetings begin among the burners, and everyone else rolls their eyes, like, "here we go again". I never thought endless debate about shower structures, solar capacity, and evaporation ponds could be so damn INTERESTING. And, apparently, it's not, if you're not addicted. Maybe that's how you tell.

New job and new commute. After doing the math, found that I can't go this year. Ticket is sold. And all of this is making me a lot sadder than I thought it would. WTF?
Arrrggg!! Avast ye fucking fluffy bunny shirtcockers! Haul your drunken hairy fat ass out of our sight or prepare to receive a hot buttered hedgehog fired up your aft quarters!

Ah! So it is different! One can both multi-task and upcycle! Cool!

Come on, ygmir, you certainly must have known I was joking...?! I, of course, always save my personal stuff for my breaks!

giggle....of course

it's not so much that I'm against a little screwing off on the job......but, I've been on both sides of that fence.....it's amazing how many people take advantage of employers that way, and, then, wonder why said boss is cranky.........

which, is why BM is such a wonderful event (back on subject)
we can totally screw off.....and, not on the backs (usually) of others......

I will be going to burning man for the first time this year and I am obsessed.
I keep reading the eplaya and watching videos online and exercising so I don't look as bad in shorts and potentially shirtless.

But it might be redirection because my career plans have been delayed another year and I'm really dying for some adventure.
Peace, love, intellectual stimulation, and good times!

I was pretty damn sure that if you spelled it wrong that you would be able to justify it anyway.
