Slept most of the day away so I'm up watching the Iran Revolution unfold on Twitter.

On Sunday, I'm going to paint my RV with fiberglass paint that I bought on Friday, if the rain ever stops!

I know I stayed up way to late this morning watching the news about it.

News junkie is one of my really bad habits.
Thats why BM is soooooo nice.
I escape for a week from the world.
And the power plant.

News Junkie is my bad habit too. I wonder what can be done for Iran but can only watch. The pictures of the 16 year old girl killed on Saturday were tragic.

Yes, BM is good for hiding away from the world. I like disconnecting out there.

LMAO

Most of the time I am disconnected from the world.
Have the guy I relieve to talk to for a few minutes.
CSC at midnight when I call in my numbers.
And whoever relieves me in the morning.

Was kind of nice having the FNG the last couple of weeks.
I get so tired of talking to myself.

That's why I don't mind being up at this time of night - you are here to chat to and if I am here then you won't be talking to yourself!

You said you can't hear the music on your computer there, is that correct?

Nope no sound card in this POS....

But I have my pod, with 12 days worth of music, and about 5500 BM pics on it.

Put everything on shuffle, you never know what you will hear or see.

ah, so it's no good for me to post youtube to entertain you!

I heard there was still a lot of rain in Gerlach area. Is this good for the playa surface?

Ohhh no please post them. Some times I need something like that to wake me up out of whatever funk I am in and search pod to see if I have it.

Lots of rain still, if it keeps up I am going to have to grow webs between my toes.

Plane still stuck in the playa, along with a couple of RV's.

oh, I like that song!

I've been listening to rock to wake me up so mine are a little harder this morning!

How long does it take for the playa to dry out once the rain stops? Must be having a lot of rain if the plane is still there from a couple weeks ago.

Depends on how warm it gets.
We seem to be stuck in a cycle right now of sun in the mornings followed by some hellasious thunderstomrs in the afternoon/evenings.

Right now the playa is mud, and deep. I drove up to mm 3 a couple of days ago because I was bored walked out maybe 100 yds and was sinking in more then an inch into the surface.

on the pod

Morning Bar peeps! Thanks for the yummy coffee PM!

Back from Seattle for a day or so. Headed to see Cirque Berzerk tonite in their shiny new huge tent! I wonder if its coming to the playa but somehow I doubt it. Suspect if they do the playa shows it will be in the old tent.

Hit a nice personal milestone yesterday with 23 years of sobriety... woohoo!!! Fly back to Seattle again tomorrow but it should be a short trip. Good thing cuz I have so much to do down here! Nice to hear the playa is so wet so late this year... should make for good biking in August! Wonder when I'll hear about early entry... hmmm... how'd you find out so soon IBD? Later peeps!
A plan is what you vary from.

Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!
