Anyone Headed to the Celtic Forest in Downtown Reno Tonight?

The RGJ did a fantastic article on tonight's events. I needed a little boost to get me into my art installation again...

Celtic Forest: Celtic music and dancing from 5-8 p.m., and the Controlled Burn performers from 8-10:30 p.m.

I didn't see anything about musicians in the article. Are they coming to BRC?

I'm not sure who the musicians are or if they'll be at BRC. However, here's the rest of what I could glean from the RGJ:

Burning Man's Celtic Forest Opening Reception
The display is being installed on the lot by the river at the corner of Sierra Street and Island Avenue. Festivities include hula hoopers, stilt walkers, flag dancers, fire spinners and more. Wine and appetizers along with Celtic music is featured at Sierra Arts Gallery, 17 S. Virginia St. from 5-8 p.m. followed by fire dancing by Controlled Burn from 8-10 p.m.

Sounds like fun, regardless!!!

Had the camera on the wrong setting, so most pics from last night have trails......
this is the only still of the Celtic Forest that didn't have streaks.

But, the videos came out fine, here's a shot of what they set up, it will be there in Reno until September...

afterwards, some of us headed to a local dive to have a few and watch the festivities going on in there...

The music you hear is just background music for the Celtic Forest showing.

The real stuff was earlier in the eve at the Sierra Arts gallery, which I did not attend.
