Join the "Sinister Minister" Theme Camp!

We're looking for about three more amazing, creative, and insane people to join our camp as a monk, a bar tender, The Minister, or any other lunatic activity you can think of!

Camp will be operational Wed thru Fri from 2000 to 2200 or later. The Bearded Child Film Festival will be on Sat night starting after the burn. Potential penitents will prove they are worthy to enter the Confession Booth and be judged by our Sinister Minister. If their confession is both creative and perverse, they will be allowed to enter the Communion Tent. If they are judged to be unworthy, they will be banished to the Excommunication Purgatory to consider their lowly state and attempt to make penance for being dull. Successful applicants will be led in the sacred communion rites of the Priest of the Perverse and are at the mercy of the presiding Potentate. On Sat, after the burn, our newly approved acolytes will partake in the Bearded Child Film Festival, an underground art experience like no other; both brilliant and devilishly twisted. We are searching for unique people to share our Burning Man experience, those with humor and extreme creativity..............

The name was actually inspired by a former professional wrestler.....

BTW- We expect to have a few early entry passes available for those will be assisting with the setup. Details can be found here:

Also, if anyone has another contribution to the festival that they want hosted by the Sinister Minister Camp, we'd love to have you! Our activities are only from 20:00-22:00 W-F and Sat after the burn. That leaves a lot of time for musical performances and such. If you let us know before July 31st your contribution can be included in the printed guide.

Since I wander the playa in a big purple robe that says "Sinister Minister" (or a labcoat that says "Sinister Minister"... or just generally respond to that), my apologies in advance for any confusion :lol:

I'll make sure to drop on by and show you all some love... This year I'm with the Black Rock Fremen (Camp Sietch Grabrear, 6 and Fossil) if anyone drops in looking for me. (And no, I'm not the wrestler... I'm the Sinister Minister of Biohazard).

:idea: I do have a camp and mutant vehicle to set up, but I could (should) offer to lend you all a hand, since people may think we're one and the same anyway... message me off-board if you want to discuss.

But really, there's a movie called Satanic Mechanic which predates RHPS or even RHS. About an assassin, and yes, there's a scene where he's attacked by killer transvestites. I always wondered if Richard saw that as an impressionable teenager.

It should be noted that all confessions to the Minister will be strictly private and confidential. Also, the sacramental red wine served will have no alcohol content, and the camp will be chock full of fluffy little kittens.

Unfortunately from reading about some other camps, it is necessary to point out that no monetary contribution is expected from any Sinister Minister participants what so ever. If you should have something to offer in context, that's fine, but we really don't expect anything but your time and creativity.

....See, even I can play the straight man sometimes.
