Burning Man Newbie - Have bacon - need info!

Post by canada_dry » Sun Jun 28, 2009 2:32 pm

Hi,

My son and I are heading to Burning Man for the 1st time this year. We're from Toronto. We'll be flying to LA mid August and then I've got to figure out how to get there and hopefully we'll find a camper/trailer of some sort soon!

Will trade bacon for tips/info on campers/trailers! :D

And from what I read we'll need to pickup some 2nd hand bikes along the way to bring there. Unfortunately we'll only be able to stay about 2-3 days. But the event looks like a blast... we're really looking forward to it!

Why ya going to LA? Or do you just want to visit LA? If Burning Man is your destination, fly into Reno and then take the BioBus (http://www.burncleanproject.org/).

Too bad you'll have only 2-3 days...you'll just be getting warmed up and have to leave. Whatever, it's good that you can be there!
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

Exactly what kind of bacon are you willing to trade ?

(be very careful when answering this question )

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
