are you actually going to do the full legal deal? Cause it requires a trip to Lovelock. You have to get to the courthouse so they can stamp your paperwork.
(Unless i'ts in Washoe County this year, in which case it's Reno, I guess.)
YOu also got to find someone lisenced in the State of Nevada, and a Universal Live Minister won't cut it.
There is a coordinator on the main site. Look there and find out what you need to know.

Actually, a minister from anywhere is OK as long as they request and receive permission from the State of Nevada to perform the ceremony. To get such permission, they provide a certification from their congregation. Even some of the "online" churches can, and do, provide this documentation.

It is easier to use someone who is ordained in Nevada as you skip that step. The entire process takes some time so it would be good to put the wheels in motion soon. I am ordained in California and have officiated at several playa weddings. The staff at the county offices are GREAT, very helpful, very supportive.

We officiated a playa wedding in 2007. The bride and groom then decided to make it legal upon returning home. They tell all and sundry that their anniversary is the playa date, not the paperwork submission date. It is all what you believe....
