I'm thinking of building a scale model of the man, do any of you know where I can find drafts blueprints from which the figure is built.
You see, I want it to be perfect.

You can't have the plans, the architect who designed the original Man specified that it be so.

You can work from the numerous pictures of the construction, but not get your mitts on the specifications.

plus the specs change yearly. i liked his rib cage this last burn. nice style.

i also wanted to do a smaller one for my future home backyard out in the desert. for those summer nights. about a 8 footer... thought that would be cool...

I've been looking for a dxf,dwg,3ds of the man but it looks like from what I've read I'm gonna have to make it myself. I just want it for my avatar and to make an animation plus I'm just to lazy to make it myself.

This year is going to be my first burn and I just can't wait to be there.
I live in Norway and here no one has heard about Burning Man.
I want to build a scale model of the "The Man" to have in my sound studio to use for inspiration when I'm making music. Maby 2-3 feet tall.

Exactly. It's similar, but different (the 'man' on my icon is from almost 2 years ago). As a mater of fact, every one I do is different. My goal is to emulate without copying. Using the Black Rock effigy as inspiration rather than as a model.
