How Do You Read eplaya?
I tend to work my way through the fora, ending with "Open Discussion." Anything lower than that doesn't exist to me, nor does the Regionals forum. I check into the tickets forum but only read that if there's a "miracle" thread. Then I press the button to clear all the others. I skip a lot of threads in this forum, some are too silly or too depressing to read. I skip "My Favorite Movie on YouTube Today" when I'm at work, or at home if I'm listening to music. I like to see no yellow folders in the fora I read when I log out again. Tribe.net is now the one I keep open by default.

On and off again, depending upon my mood. And haphazardly choosing which threads to read, unless I am currently following some. Generally I read it on my desktop at home, but sometimes I read it on my notebook computer, if I am somewhere with access.
Right now I am scaling back again on reading eplaya (and other sites.) I've got some other stuff I should/need to get done.

Sigh. First, I glance up at messages... I cringe when I have personal messages, they most often aren't happy things. If I see a post in feedback, I go there first. Then I begin from the top down, unless I have problem threads which I check first. I don't always get to read everything, because there's a buttload of nonsense and topics I find terminally dull. Sometimes I miss entire bitch sessions because a sleepy thread blows up in the middle of the night and I don't hit it until later that day.
Fishy, you missed some good shit in regionals and feedback last week.

Sorry it's so hard on you, AntiM.

I too use the View Posts Since Last Visit feature. A 2nd login can come in handy if you go a week without checking. If you don't get through all 5 pages or so before you have to log off, you can then login with the 2nd one and get the last bit of it.
I always avoid the politics ones and YouTube stuff. The PC I use is in a public space so I rarely watch videos and if I do so, I do it silently.

* Then the Fuck thread.
* Then the Don't Post thread.....just to annoy mdmf007. xoxoxo
* I like to check out the Rest In Peace thread on occasion.
* I used to visit the Red Tent years ago but now I'm post-menopausal and no longer have periods. YAY!!! HAPPY DANCE!!! And you can't imagine how happy I am saving money on tampons. Sometimes I miss my bleeding. It was soooo cleansing.

I use - View posts since last visit. Top down, bottom up or cherry pick. I view ePlaya just enough to have about 4 to 6 topics on the second page.
Black Rock City Welding & Repair. The Night Time Warming Station. Crow Bar.

I'm no 'hard hitter' on here, I just look for a certain type of soul on here so as to connect, I try to 'display' myself honestly. I am relatively new to computers and internet communications, though have to admit I have met some people both physically and just via typeing that I truly adore, - this site and others!!!!. I've opened up to it a bit in all honestly- seemed foolish not to! My wavelength is 'particular' without being 'snobby' - Life is, after all, short! My friends are amazing but I'm stunned that I've 'met' people via internet that are equally as admirable. I like to admire and to compliment. I've never been truly offended by anyone on eplaya, I am extremely intelligent, though very poorly educated! and I have found some of the wisdom, integrity, kindness and intellect on eplaya quite refreshing. Not all people to be honest! But I fuck up too!!!!!
In a nutshell, there are a lot of good characters here in a relatively small space. I was surprised by this and pleased by that.
Other than that I usually cover up one of my eyes so that I can see straight.

Left to right, top to bottom... (Ha! I'm sofa king funny!)
I use the View Posts Since Last Visit option. Much easier than perusing each forum individually for me.
