at the risk of sounding like a brown-noser...

Kudo's to the DMV for their mutant vehicle application process freshly posted on the website. Not only did they meet their deadline, it appears to be (IMHO) a well thought out and thorough process. I look forward to completing the application, and even more to a safer 2004 BRC. Jafe

my thought on art cars, I think art cars are a big part of BM it is amazing the time and all the work some people put in their cars but I would like the dmv to try and weed out the ones that are not art in any way just a way for people who are to fucking lazy to pedal a bike

They do...that's their job.

Some of the niftyest personal conveyance vehicles are driven by disabled/handicapped Burners.

Try striking up a conversation with those you feel are not quite up to your standards, and find out what their excuse is. Point out to them where the DMV is, and encourage them to get their vehicle registered. They'll get the message.
