I can fit them all into my truck, but they have to buy their own tickets.

Campers, check the tribe group. I've been shopping! ;)

I would imagine online there are many........
try here:

http://www.museumreplicas.com/c-15-swor ... ggers.aspx

mine was hand made just for me, by a friend that does that stuff........
an honorable trade:
Stone for steel............I liked that..........
He also made the scramisax to the left.
if you zoom in, there is decoration, but, not a lot........

I was just inferring the "filigree" and such that is structural to the hilt and handle become a liability in use....and, weaken, usually, the structure......

you, sir, are a stalwart man, powerful of mind and limb, and would,, I would assume, want a weapon to withstand the force of your abilities......

yes, a beautifule steel process, and, a beautiful product.......

I did one one once, where, I braided 1/4' steel bar stock, then, forge welded it into a blade.......very cool pattern.........

Mozy-- My interests tend towards fantasy weapons; I think you have something there :). However, it also needs to be solidly constructed, made of good steel, and from a forge with a good name. If you have that, you have the right weapon.

As long as we're posting weapons; one of my favorites that holds a place of honor in my home:

Simple, lightweight, very well made, and *very* effective. :)
