How hard or soft is the Playa this year?

Postby zscott57 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 6:39 pm

Did we get enough rain this year to help harden up the surface? Has anyone been out there? Last year we had to work for every inch we rode our bikes unlike years past. I was wondering what we can expect this year.

Thanks

Well, one vote for hard and one for soft. So it sounds like go find out for ourselves.
P.S. I had heard soft prior to this informative poll.

Damn.
I like it so much better when it's hard.

well, really "hard" and "soft" are so relative......

dirt is soft compared to landing on pavement.........

sometimes, I get a "diamond cutting blue veiner" that will put silicon carbide drills to shame.....

just depends on what you're comparing.........

Thanks for the link.
It does sound promising.

I am having a *ahem* hard time getting past the "diamond cutting blue veiner" visual however...

When it's soft, it's hard to beat.

when it's hard it feels sooo good
I can't recall anything.
But I can call again and again until they pick up.
