dmv deadline pased - any way to still bring art kart?

so I just gained access to a kick ass kart that would serve as our mobile broadcasting art car for our radio station 92.1 misfit burner radio. but i just logged on to find registration already closed. can i still bring this and register it there? or am i out of luck..

Convert it to pedal power and you don't need no stinkin' DMV.

Otherwise you are SOL.

Have a buddy break your leg. Get the documentation on your disability to the DMV. Registration is open till the 31st of July.

Contact the dmv directly and ask.

I would guess your chances are better if it really is above average.

And I'd say your chances are slim. Quite slim.

DMV has gotten pretty tough these past few years and I'd say that your chances are next to nill.

You can of course always ask. However, don't be surprised if you don't hear back immediately - or at all.

The deadlines are there for a reason and just about now the volunteer folk are ramping up to deal with the folks who adhere to deadlines and time constraints.

The only other thing I'd add is to not take it personal if they don't get back to you.

Note that the "documentation" in question had better include a city- or state-issued parking placard, as that is the Department's minimum requirement for a disabled license. Too many people abused the system when a doctor's note was the only expectation.
