Gastric Bypass Surgery & complications

Post by Monkeypoo » Sun Jul 12, 2009 12:46 pm

Anybody out there had GBS? (Gastric Bypass Surgery)
I had mine 6/26/06, was 260 pounds at the time, lost 140 pounds in a year.
I don't wanna discuss the good/bad or complications right now with the public.
No one can understand unless you've gone through the surgery.
I'm experiencing some difficulties.
PM me, OK?

I hope you have talked to your doctor?

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

My brother had one, lost 200 pounds. very successful, but very stressful with the food limitations and the constant hydrating. So I know a bit about the side effects, but I am no expert.

Sadly, I can't ask him anything, he had cancer and died last year.
