It's going to be alright.
Hey all! Just dropping in quick to say hello. I have LOTS of reading to catch up on...only got to page 2837 of bar.
Celebrated birthday in London last week. Yippee. Still a bit jet lagged, or waterlogged. I thought I would've been able to swim across a pond in a few hours. No one told me how big that pond really was....

DaMule is better than DaMap, any day!
But nice to have both.
Sorry I'm late to cocktail hour. It's been a long day and I'm off to bed soon. Have a hankering for a hot cocoa, isn't that odd?
You have fine taste in music, ygmir.
When I was a young girl (16ish) I used to babysit at a cottage on the beach beside the Stork Club in Port Stanley on Saturday nights. I was out on the porch rocking the baby when Count Basie's limo came along and pulled up to the club. The baby and I stayed on the porch swing for a couple hours. It was one of the most memorable evenings of my childhood.
Full moon on the calm water, delightful summer breeze and the most wonderful orchestra! I think I'll remember it as long as I live.
For my seventeenth birthday, my parents snuck me in underage for the 50th Anniversary of the Guy Lombardo Orchestra taped by CBC television.

Hi Risky, Sputnik.........
*pushes "morning" on Fembot remote*
lets see if she'll still work, with the missing parts and all..........
*noting how sleek, hot, and chrome she still is*
How about a tune while Fembot is making coffee?

Wow, Deb, those are some super cool memories. Count Basie and Guy Lombardo too! Neat-o.
Thank you very much for the parade Littleflower. Just as Ygmir's vet buddies appreciated their late homecoming, I feel grateful for mine too. Plus it was way cool seeing those horses have to work at dragging my float. I kept making fun of the horses.
I see we now have a male-bot to play with fem-bot. No mule-bots?
Thanks for the oats, Goathead. But I don't think I want any of that hot brown liquid. I thought it might be the hot cocoa that Deb spoke of...but it tastes funny. I've already been tricked by that peanut butter stuff and that time someone put something funny in my oats....so I think I'll just stick with oats.

Wow, what a great place to come too! Howdy everyone.
Coffee and chocolate bacon, yum. Playa frog is really lookin' cool.
Everyone's doing something interesting. Brings a smile to my face.
I'm working away quietly in the corners. Have written some articles in advance for the newspaper - the fun, silly stuff. And today, the editor assigned me the theme article for the first paper!
Excited for the burn. Tickets are finally resolved. AND best news today - I have a driving partner. YAY, SilverOrange!
Rebbi, I'm just lovin' the mulebot! Will keep us company when DaMule is out sowing.
DaMule, I have great music memories from there, also saw Harry James, Tommy Dorsey and others. All the great names came to Port Stanley, my home town. The Stork Club burned in 1979 but it was a grand palace of a place.
How's about a little road music...

PS, I'll be out when Sputnik comes in for cocktails. Off to a public meeting to stir the pot and get some action.

~slips in, sees no one~
ah, good, I can just sit here in the dark, quiet stillness for a moment.
~malebot brings over a hot chocolate with a little Bailey's!~
~malebot puts the jukebox on Harry James - low soothing volume~

Bought red material for the mulebot today - guess I'll put it behind the bar. When the mulebot gets done, maybe someone will remember to put it on.
Okay, ygmir must have been busy so we better get some oats out for DaMule.
Can't see Rebbi's picture so I have no idea which six pack he's talking 'bout. Is that beer or abs? Gosh I hope I don't have that computer problem ygmir had. Wonder why I can't see pictures all of a sudden.
~malebot finds Benny Goodman on the jukebox~

Not sure what kind of MV unjonharley's working on. Two days for rear wheels sounds like a big job. Look forward to pics.
