I am intrigued by your question.

Are you asking 'where' in geographical terms ? (perhaps a slightly daft question)

Or are you saying that you 'know' your trance and you find real trance is lacking at BRC? ( quite an interesting statement!) - that could make for an interesting thread IMO.

Or is this a joke? I thought trance is what a lot of the big camps played. (Ha Ha) - great,- sarcasm again.

actually i was asking about camps that play trance. the big ones are too commercial and if i wanna go to a huge concert i can go here in LA. i'm talking about the little camps with sound system that play this kind of music.

but anyways... thanks for ur no help, i loved the answers but i can be on my own from now on.

Back about a dozen years ago, when I was a denizen of the Bay Area, I used to go to the Earthdance festival in the fall up in Santa Rosa.

Back then Medicine Drum was all the rage and I made an extra special celebration for them.

I would cook up a 7 gallon pot of ox tail stew and a mound of grilled lamb shanks. I served the ox tails on shiny sai martial arts knives and the lamb shanks were barbarian style, bone in hand, meat in mouth, pull and let the grease spray.

I would serve it during the Medicine Drum set, while everyone was trancing out.

It was such a surreal sight to see all the shroomed out hippies dancing with all that succulent flesh in their hands.

The smell of roast sheep grease beats patchouli hands down.
