I was at a burner/artist party last weekend (Sand by The Ton) over in the East Bay and I saw a woman who had a large tattoo of the man while he was burning. With all the colors of red, yellow, orange for the fire. It was very impressive. Got me thinking its time to brand myself again so I was looking to see what others have gotten done, or are thinking of getting.

Burner Tattoos
So over the years I have seen some really sweet artwork. A lot having to do with Burning Man, some just very tribal and earthy. I am actually going in for some more ink very soon here and I was just wondering who else out there has some really cool artwork under the skin. Pictures? Descriptions?

Sooooooo THis one time in the Strip Club... I was drunk and gettin' drunker and some guy asks me "Where Are You from?" I said "I'm from Black Rock City!" The Guy says "where?" and I yell at the top of my lungs "I'm From Black ROck City!!!!!" This Hottie Girlie with Dreaded Blonde locks- says to Me "did You just say Your from Black ROCk City?" SO I YELLEd it again "YEs! I'm from Black Rock CIty" She pulls down the arm of her cover up and Shows Me her Tattoo of The Man with the map around it and a star on the map where she camps! And Said that she was from Black Rock City also and could never remember where she camped so she had the map Tattooed on HER!
If I were to wish ANYTHING I'd wish I were ME!!

Until your old and lose your hair - lots of old dudes in retirement homes with crazy tats on their skulls!Apollonaris Zeus wrote:too bad they chance the names of the streets each year!
I would tattoo a face on the back of my head this way I could keep an eye on those people that are always following me on the playa.
Then I could let my hair grow and no one would see it until next year.

I was looking up Sarawak and ran across this.
Did you know they did a bit of headhunting during world war II?
The japanese had no fear of machine guns, but silent blowguns gave them the heebie-jeebies.

i got ink from my ankles to my elbows.., best advice i got for you is: think about something you want on you for the rest of your life, find a good artist, and go big.... my back piece took about 180 hours < or three years to complete >
