Fab, Comfy, Long, Green Sofa Seeks Ride/Good Times @ 09 Burn
Hey there Fellow Burners!
We are giving away our well-worn and totally comfy green sofa (see cl ad with pics at http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/fuo/1255040086.html) to a new home on the Playa (or in your own default world flat even).
The sofa is super long - a few inches shy of eight feet - and is three feet wide. I won't lie - it is is on the later side of its life (springs are starting to come through under the cushions and it has some scratching on the legs from former feline resident (over a year so no animal dander to worry about on that front)...but it is a fabulous sofa nonetheless. Totally comfy, easy to fall asleep upon, cushions are totally in tact, and great to stretch out upon in full (and I'm six foot two, so I know).
This is THE PERECT couch for the Playa and a camp, and even a great starter sofa for roomies on a budget.
No money needed - you want it, you take it (I'll even help you get it down the stairs).
Hit me up via email at [email protected] if you are interested. Sofa ready for its new owner now.

Fucking fantastic!
I'll trade you a slightly used pair of mens briefs, pretty good condition except some mild sag in the elastic just about the groin area, but hey, it adds to the ventilation and stuff.
Oh, there is some minor discoloration in the muff area from the crab medication I used about a year ago but don't worry, the scivies are crab free.

Disappointed.
Wow.
Such a snarky and small minded response to an act of generosity and kindness which would ultimately manifest in the comfort of others.
Keep your filthy underwear for yourself.

As my housemate might say: Bedbugs.
Sorry, teardrop, asking someone else to deal with your garbage is not "an act of generosity and kindness which would ultimately manifest in the comfort of others."
It's strewing your garbage on 477 on the way home. I pass enough used couches on the sidewalk to not want another one even mentioned in my presence.
May I suggest a sawsall and pickup. Drives to the dump are kinda neat in a wierd way.

Lesson Learned.
Sorry to have offended so many with the simple thought that sharing resources would bring pleasure to others on the Playa during this year's "Evolution" theme. If I thought the sofa was so ratty that it wasn't worth being on the Playa, I wouldn't have posted it in the first place. But whatever.
Clearly the snarky, holier-than-though, I'm-better-than-you attitude that sucks about San Francisco in some quarters is alive and well on the ePlaya. Thanks for making me think twice about wanting to be around such pricks again on the Playa.
