The Analytic Ranch Mobile Unit 1 (formerly the "Airstream of Consciousness") will be on site providing services, in a manner of speaking. Our mobile clinic will be staffed, and you can get analysed, but we aren't quite sure who will be doing your analysis. We have a neurophysiologist who thinks he's a psychologist, a psychologist who thinks he's a comedian, and an actual comedian. We will take turns, or perhaps turn to who is the least messed up at the time, or maybe the most messed up. Whatever. Remains to be seen who does the best job, which I guess is the point. We are working on our theory of Fieldsian analysis (WC, that is) and are particularly interested in Fieldsian misdirection and the notion of casting couples in therapy as a comedy team, which has been working quite well lately. All are welcome, until they're not.
