FINALLY I GOT IT - WHY WE ARE BURNING THE MAN ?

Post by djsiago » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:29 pm

Actually it just means that it's time to leave. The old system of just getting on the PA and telling everyone "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" was kind of a let down.

Well then, what will be your reasoning for Burning Man in 2013 ?

reasoning ..

Post by djsiago » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:53 pm

take a look at the playa design and take a look at the mayan calendar , be open minded and enjoy the ride , then you will understand the reason

………….speaking of visions……………mine usually include me fucking a very fuzzy cute squirrel………that turns into a gigantic squirrel……not so cute, but still fuzzy……………chasing me……….. I guess I should visit Dreams Visions Hallucinations Fantasies at the burn this year…………..maybe they can help……………….

OOOh...it's a circle.

So is my clock on the wall.

The whole universe is made up of circular shapes - spheres, waves, spirals........

In Canada, even bacon comes in the form of a circle.

There is nothing in the Burning Man camp layout about sixes or the number twenty.

When you can make that connection, let us know, and we will work you through that also.

the playa is a clock with no time , the energy that flows out of there creates the vortex , the healing you get from this effect is incredible , one day we will start using this techniques again , this vortex is power enough so it can reduce much of stress on the planet , its a cool trick , i hope this is doing the job , and if not yet - at least the experience healed me and i will use my talent in order to boost the vortex to his peak with my music .

So are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI).

They should pass them out for free around here.

I know the Aztecs were dumb enough to smoke each others spit, but here, just in case you weren't joking.

We burn the Man out in the desert (and everything else we can get our hands on) because, unlike all those environmental earth-loving hippies, we don't care about global warming. We want the earth to be polluted with smoke and carbon. We want the oceans to rise.

Wait a minute. I'm one of those environmental earth-loving hippies...

djsiago, that's a good point. But there is time on the playa. Daytime and Nighttime! and you better have a clock if you want to attend many of the events or you will miss them.

heal the world all you want, it all ends in 2012! Hope to meet you before then

The meaning of burningman

1) The burning of the man is a defiantly meaningless and celebratory act that at once acknowledges the human need for ritual, and mocks all cultural rituals that came before it.

2) The bacon part.

3) SPAM
4) Nudity. We like being naked.
5) 58% of all burners claim Halloween as their favorite holiday. Burning Man allows us to dress up all week to get our Halloween fix.

HA HA ASSHOLES!

The Man Already Burned! I fucking wasted his ass with a flamethrower weeks ago...

time to rebuild, huh....ha ha...gotta make the man again.....what a pain in the fucking ass, all that work for nothing.....too fucking bad...

i may even burn him again sometime soon, you'll never know...

but if you wanna get in on the ground floor of this whole stay home and burn revolution i suggest you read the e-playa threads....ALL OF THEM, EVERY PAGE....if not, and you're lazy, well, i could always get you the entire thing, read by leonard nimoy while shatner does 3 part harmony with a bunch of monks beating off in the background on 8 track...

if you dont have 8-track, well i guess you really should stay home because i hear vh-1 has a burning man special, save the $300+ dollars, get some nice chinese food, and relax and enjoy it for free....no dust, no mess, no drama, no loud noises, and most importantly, no assholes to tell YOU what to do...

no siree...

yup....uh-huh...uh-uh...

so dont get up out of your chair, stay at your house where you have everything you need, AND cable tv....

we dont get tv in the desert, it really sucks...

the food here bites too, so if you wanna burn, but dont want to sacrifice any of the creature comforts you are used to, i've got a special place for you...

in hell.

Officer, honestly the thing was burning when we got here.

Thank goodness you're here, officer, somebody left some half-smoked marijuana cigarettes on the beach!
