Well I'm staying with the bioluminati camp and I was thinking I could bring some Connecticut fire flys to match the bio-illumination theme. However, I'm not sure they would survive the trip. :-)

Fireflies seem to like humidity.
If it's a dry year, I think it would be very hard for them.

In the arkansas rain forest, they light up in the thousands.
Hypnotic and blinding.
And I'm told I haven't seen the biggest swarms.

Awwww, I love fire flies, we had them in New Jersey.
Unfortunately they do not make there home anywhere in the entire state of Nevada. The playa as mentioned above is relatively bug free, except for the occasional scorpion, snake and spider.

We lived in Pennsylvania for 11 years before comming back to Nevada and the fire flies are about the only thing I miss about the place. They are way cool. As muggy as it was this past June you'd think they should have took up residence in Nevada.

Swarming ants kill man who fell asleep under tree
By The Associated Press

LA PAZ, Bolivia â€” Bolivian police say that a 42-year-old man who fell asleep under an ant-infested tree has been killed by insect bites.

Beni city Police Chief Rolando Ramos says that farmworker Santiago Ortiz apparently had been drinking before sitting down beneath a Palo Santo tree â€” a type noted for its aromatic wood and for hosting a particularly aggressive sort of ant.

Ramos said Tuesday that when police reached the scene, the man was already dead, but swarms of ants were still crawling across his body.
