As far as exploding gummy bears...never seen it, but it would be cool!

Only thing I've had explode out there was a case of soda which we accidentally left in the sun. Again, heat, not elevation.

On the fourth of July, me and the tribe go to Donner Pass and watch bags of potato chips exploding. It's quite a show.

A bike tire that would explode due to being moved from sea level to 4000 feet would have to be on the edge of exploding at sea level. Cheap tire, over inflated. Would have exploded at sea level if you rode it over a bump.
