yes. you hang out on the street until the pumper goes by, flag them down and lead them to your rig (make sure to leave access), and pay them(!!)- last I heard, it was 75-100 dollars. This is NOT reliable, and it eats up a lot of your time. A better way to go, IMHO, is to ration water use (turn off the pump when not needed), and don't use the shower or toilet - except in emergency. A stinky RV is a bad neighbor!!

The RV pumping guys are not that hard to flag down.

Yes, this is technically true...not hard to flag down.
But, whether they'll help you is another matter entirely. Many of them are under orders (or it appears to be) to NOT do any commerce/on the spot sales. So while they'll stop and chat with you, they'll say "Sorry, I can't do that...I have to go and pump out X...."
And this was even with an offer of $125 to do it.
Tried twice in one day. Same result.
So, moral of it all is do NOT count on this happening at all. Make other plans and if it does happen, then all the better.

same deal here, not with my RV, but with other people in our camp that were less effecient.
flagged them down, gave them money(and a tip), easy peasy.
Be sure to say please and threat them like the gods that they are.
