Very much true, in all their forms.

TPBM has a much kinder muse than I.

Hmmmm, kinder?
Sounds like I need to talk to my union rep about them.
Maybe gAWD could help?

True! I have delved into the innards of my last couple, replacing parts etc. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the @%#&!(*)!$ thing pissed me off for hrs until I could get it to work right.

TPBM also owned a Commodore Vic20

Nope, it was a Commodore 64!

(Weirdly, the best computer screen for me for doing word processing, for years was the screen on the Commodore Pet! Nice, sharp letters. Commodore down-graded their graphics on the models after that so that their customers could use their televisions as monitors. I think that the notebook computer I bought earlier this year might actually be close to the old Pet in crispness of letters. Finally.)

TPBM also learned to type on a Selectric typewriter!

Nope.
They didn't get them till after I was gone.
Don't think it would have mattered in my case anyway.

TPBM has no clue as to what question to ask.

False
I know gh would be fucking bored out of his mind if he was so fucking tired.

TPBM is thankful gh has finally thought of a question to ask.

I heard a rumor that he was in Tijuana running some donkey shows and that he might be bringing the act to the playa this year as "his art".

TPBM has never been to the lovely little village called TJ

True. Those rumors of donkey acts scare me.

False-- I am chewing on a plastic straw. (Maybe I should buy GUM!)

TPBM is wondering if the donkey acts are like the one in Clerks 2!

No, I'm just having wireless issues and can't log on as often as normal (whatever that means.)

False. I'm not able to go this year, so I have no big plan. Just wait til 2010, though!!! Is this the part where I throw my body down on the ground, pound my fists, and I scream real loud and cry?? Oh. Okay. Good. *throws body down on the ground, pounds fists, screams and cries* I'm thinking maybe I'll make a Man out of popsicle sticks, maybe a Mrs. Man too, and 50,000 popsicle stick Burners. I could take a Sharpie and write folks' names on the sticks. Then I will burn them on Burn Night this year. And I shall call it ART!!!

TPBM likes cherry popsicles the best.

I have this horrible dawning knowledge that I may have outgrown drink this year. And I never got to have a dissolute youth.

The Person Below Me is planning to sew some wild oats in his (her) fifties.

I sewed a lot of oats last year so I may opt for a more artistic burn this year.

TPBM is currently doing art for the playa.

No, but I am creating Art nonetheless.

I believe that Nature has many canvasses for us to paint upon.
I had some river rocks adorning my garden, looking rather bare.
My latest obsession as a GrannyPoo is making things colorful for baby boy.
DUH. He loves my/our garden of flowers. He loves monsters and zombies.
Soooo....I am painting Monster Pet Rocks. Yay!

TPBM likes monster movies.

depends on the monster ... human monsters scare me too much, and give me nightmares ... but i love movie monsters like godzilla, or some of the creatures in space movies and sci-fi ... i wish i could design a few of those!

TPBM prefers a nice love story
