First timer looking to share a ride from the SF bay area

I'm a first timer from the east coast and I'm gonna be meeting a group of friends within a day or two of getting into the site. They're good people. Right now my plan is to fly to the SF Bay Area get geared up and drive to Burning Man on or Around Aug 31. I'd like to share the cost of a rental vehicle, food, water and other essentials.
