Haven't decided on anything exciting yet. That will be in the last coat if I do. Right now I'm essentially replacing the gel coat that was on the fiberglas out of the factory. It was destroyed by sun and playa dust!

Hey was that BBD making a run through the bar? :D

How are you doing Little Flower? You've been busy doing barbaric jewellry and costuming, I think.

OED...good idea with the goop. Might use that and ripstop nylon on either side of the holes.

OK, one more beer and then bed for me.
It's going to be alright.

OED, I bought this stuff at a marina in the States. The guy taught me how to do it and made me write it all down so I wouldn't bugger it up. I don't think he thought I could read the label! Anyway, it's looking real good now.

Sputnik, I found a link for you. This is from the girls at the Alternative Energy Zone. They made a wiki for all their ideas and one page was all about Aluminet. There's a section on repairing.

have a good night, sputnik!

deb, i am going crazy with stuff ... barbarian jewelry, sewing (which i hate!), also i am painting a godzilla thing for antiM's home for wayward art, and some other stuff. hats, home-made goggles ... shopping for stuff... i haven't started cooking yet ... yikes. this thing is a lot of work! fortunately, i have time right now.

how about you? are you making any costumes? a reporter costume, perhaps?

i hope mozy drops in ... i could use something exotic!

Hey LittleFlower;

Don't really have costumes for what I do at the newspaper, but I try to be more playafied than my regular camping clothes. So I do make some costumes.

I'm trying to think of something special to wear for visiting the Booby Bar on Tuesday night for Vampirate night. Then for Thursday, there was something in an early JRS that said its SuperHero day on the playa so I'm making an Isis costume for that.

Starting to make my menu up and will be grocery shopping for make-ahead stuff on Saturday.

Hey Goathead;

What happened, didn't get any sleep today?

What is 93% acid?
In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

*wanders in from barn*

it looks like Mule was home, but, not now......rascal........

*builds fire for cowboy coffee*

Hey GH:
that's good stuff.......but, very active vs organics.......

a cool "trick":

put an inch or so of granulated sugar in a fireproof container.
cover with sulfuric acid (strong) about an inch.
it'll start to smoke, then, a column of carbon will rise from the container, like those "snakes" on 4th of July.........

careful, it can spit and sputter, and, gets really hot.........kind of cool, though.

PM:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

well,
off to the ROS........

a tune for PM?

Birthday Blessings

Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings now,
As your birthday nears.

Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who’ve enriched your life
Just by being there.

Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.

Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

Crap OED, way to tell someone how to create an on-playa black hole. And I suppose you think it's cute.

Did I leave a bottle of liquid acrylic here? I could have sworn I did. It was irridescent--you know the tiny mica particules? I wonder where I did leave it?
