Camps that were placed - space issues?

Post by kiuney » Mon Aug 03, 2009 4:04 pm

Been following the threads here the past few days and I will say that I am quite grateful that we were given space at all. Seems like a lot of great camps were denied placement. :(

That being said, we received approximately a third of the space requested. We're finding this strange because for the last two years, we've gotten the location requested as well as extra space. We're a camp of 25 people and it seems a bit ridiculous that we're having to seriously consider a satellite camp. Assuming the posted link is final, did this happen to anyone else?

Thanks!

Yes, it happened to our village also.
Everybody gonna hafta get cozier.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Our camp actually got more space, but we are placed super far out (at least compared to what we were asking for) on H street. Half our campers are already complaining :?
I would have preferred less space and closer to the locations we asked for, strangely enough...

Hushville has less space, but I was assuming we're sharing with a potty bank.

Meh, we've done Hushville Calcutta before. Guy lines on small tents overlapping other guy lines!

We got a mess of space, and we may add some extra rides and attractions.
Still looking for barbaric acoustic musicians. :D

We got our camp cut in half and were moved from C street to E street. It turns out that the E street is Evolution NOT Extinct and it's the street that surrounds center camp. I guess I won't be getting much sleep this year.
I don't like change and this is messing me all up.

We got placed in Center Camp next to Arctica two years in a row a few years ago. I kid you not it's the best sleep I ever had... the constant white noise of the generator trucks masked out all other noise :-)
