Had to look up what a TIA stroke is. That can be a sign of a future stroke. You better take it easy there, young lady. We need you and Playa Frog out there to have fun.
Did they say you ought to take a low-dose Bayer every day? Sometimes that can help keep you from getting blood clots.
hugs to Pinemom..get better girl.. watch the blood sugar and hormoans..
ya got to get to the playa so you can get a hug and a cold aloe treatment...

Yah, Pinemom, like he said - and maybe now's the time to cut down on smoking a bit too. I know, I know it's hard but geez you got a granddaughter now and she's gonna need you in good health.

*slides down fire pole*
hey everybody.
I've been sort of hesitant to come in here, with what happened to me last time I explored this realm.....
but,
PM and a predicament is much more important than my little "issues"
*sending good juju and thoughts to PM, and TITWI, who, must be very worried*

Au contraire, monsieur. It is you are magical. I have to spend time on Wikipedia to find out what all these European liqueurs are. Spending time in the bar with you is an education.ygmir wrote:you, madam, are magical..........
thanks.
well, a shot, and, off to dance with morpheus.........
Let's hope Morpheus has sweet dreams tonight!
'ello.
yes, to take her easy...heheheee I will try my best!
Most of all the outside hard and hot work is done.
Which might, might not, have been why what happened happened?
Its all down hill from here till the day we pack.
I have to go see a nuerologist still before we leave.
Then Ill have a better idea of what happened to me?
Really at the time it happened, all I had done for the day was my coffee and computer time???
Today I start costumes!
Tomorrow the world!

*pulls up a barstool*
well, PM, I'm glad you seem ok.
What happened? These sorts of things, might be good info for all of us around the same age.......what one of us thinks is "no big deal" might make a difference to others experiencing the same symptoms.
not trying to be nosy, sorry if it seems so.
*starts coffee*
well,
it seems we're slowly moving over here, since it loads so much faster.
I'm not so good at bouncing back and forth between watering holes, but, well, we'll see.........
maybe a few posts in the original bar.......letting folks know, if that is, the fact is we're moving.......
*making notes to self about hiding under heater vents, etc.......*
is there a Juke in here?.......
or, is this more low tech, conversational?

well, actually I originally thought I'd burned my retinaes with some flashy thing on the pc...nope.
It started with my vision just getting strange kinda like heat motion above hot asfault...then I got a half simi circle with flashing back and white almost tribal looking thingsin both eyes.
Couldnt see on the left hand side in either eye. that only lasted about 30 minutes. I couldnt find my big words.(little confusion= irritated)
Lost my depth perception. Big steps in no step area and things in the mirror appear farther away then they really are type perception issue.
When we arrived at the emergency room I started getting trembles in my left arm, but doc's are contributing that to nervousness.
Im ok. Really I am. I dont feel any different today then I did day before yesturday.
But Im also a little wiser now.

Actaully if it wasnt for Risky burn telling me about the TIA thing, I would have done just that...I was on the phone with her when I had decided to just go lay down for a little while to feel better......
....and the wonderful part about this happening...it means my wiring on my early detection system is in good working order!
~Namaste~
Ok...On ward and Upward.....
Im going to go spend a lil' time trying to post the latest work done on the PF.

Half and half is what I like in my java, and an occasional shot of something. My uncles used to make their own stuff they called White Lightning that was good.
PM, I get a similar visual thing with my ocular migraines (the flashing kinda semi-circle thing). I'm told this is common for those types of migraines. It looks a lot like this to me.

It's going to be alright.
Thats VERY similar to what it looked like!!Sputnik, although mine were Monochromatic.
Black and white kinda best description as tribal...but not that precise.
They did mention the ocular migraines...a couple people since have as well.
Probably what the Neuro' doc is gonna say...not a TIA but Ocular Migraines...oh goody! something new to look forward too! blah
ok posted more Pix to the PF

good morning, bar #2 gang!
i've had this, too! the sparkly monochromatic semi-circle... although i always felt OK after a few hours. i was also told ocular migraine. but it's funny, i had several of them over a year or so, but haven't had any at all for a good 10 years now. they are scary ... and, unlike my other migraines, i never did know what triggered them. strange...
i sure hope that's all it is, pinemom ...
mimosa, anyone?
