Clear coat?
Maybe this should go under art, but... My project is essentially
done but for a bit of wiring and weatherproofing. To the latter,
I'm going to clear-coat the painted wood with ... well, I don't
know what.
My question: what is a good type and/or brand of clear coat
or similar? Obviously need to be water/dust/playa proof and
not yellow. Easy to apply is required as is completely clear
and not at all milky. In the past I've tried the cheap stuff and
got exactly what I deserved.
Any experience or tips or hints to share? Thanks.

No, I'm not going to burn it. In fact, following ten days at BRC, it'll
be going to Arcosanti. So I really need to keep it relatively intact
as I'm kinda fresh out of money for major repairs.
As to weatherproofing, I realize that it rained once in the last ten or
so years. On the other hand, I'm such a schlimazel that the ONE time
that it rains at Burining Man will be while my art is on display.
So there.

Whatever you use for varnish I'd recommend anti-graffiti coating on top.
