Spectabillis, that was an awesome post.

I need to make sure it's on the record that I too was a part of the drama that put this board into crisis. I caused a lot of people unnecessary stress. And I did my best to make a genuine ass out of myself.

I have apologized elsewhere, but I will apologize again right here for my actions, my stupidity, and my problems which I unceremoniously dumped on this board and a lot of good people.

I will close by saying SB, we did not always agree on things but I did suggest you for the moderator role...and you certainly did give it your best effort. I also want to thank you for telling the story of how the current board is being run, and to most importantly of all thank Dork for his above and beyond services.

With that, I don't have to have the last word, and the forum belongs to others now.

Edit: I will go one step further. My drama has played out over several years. Along with admitting my mistakes, I also ask for your forgiveness...that's not asking for a free pass to forget what happened, but I would like to move forward and build new friendships without staying stuck in the past. I would appreciate that consideration.

Say all the negative bullshit you want about me in this thread. I could give a shit. I wont post here again.

But dont go in another thread and do the same shit to me and not expect to get a response.

I'm me, and you are you.

When I'm here having a good time and you are having a bad time because I am having a good time, the solution is not to post behind me and start shit.

Just let it go.

It's what I do and is a great solution.

Look at all other threads I post in.

Politics aside. Not in any technical posts do you see a problem from me.

Cheers to this thread I'm outta here.

I won't be holding my breath on that one. Glaciers melt faster than their response. I'll see Obamacare passed, unlimited funding for cash 4 clunkers, and Sarah Palin campaigning in Iowa first before that team would get around to doing anything.

I looked into the problem and found sadly that one of the 4 hamsters that turn the wheel to power the eplaya servers, had died. His tiny corpse wasnt contributing 25% of the power anymore, and was even tumbling around the wheel getting in the way of the other three.

We remved the little guy and added a fourth and fifth hamster to take the load of off the other 3.

Slow as molasses.

I am also getting the critical error message now and then. I don't think it is hackers, but there is a problem today.

The two new hamsters may have started a revolt: they don't want to work weekends!

Took a whole minute to load this topic and another 30 seconds for the Topic Review to load.

Getting a popular thread to load is worse than waiting for molasses. And with Tribe down too, I'm suffering from playa-prep-chatter withdrawal! Can't go to the bar to get a drink even - takes more than 10 minutes to load!

Actually just came to this thread to see if there was something I was doing wrong. Good luck with fixing it or feeding the hamsters :D - whatever it takes.

It's not getting slower.

It just that we are getting faster.

It's humans or the computers and we're winning

really

Always the optimist, eh?

Just wanted to report a rather strange happening. Went to The Bar...Volume #2 and the system said at the bottom that there were ignored users. I had never seen this before since I haven't ignored anyone so I chose to see the thread with ignored users. Liz Estrada's post on page 113 showed up.

I have never chosen to ignore anyone but went to my profile to double check and there is no one on the ignored list. Went back to the thread and it showed an ignored user so I chose to change the status of Liz Estrada and it asked if I wanted to make the change to my buddy list. I accepted the change. Then I reloaded the thread and it showed her post.

Very weird. Although possibly I don't understand how this works and possibly Liz has ignored me for some reason. I don't understand why she would have but I suppose that could be the cause??? Not that I want to put her on the spot but I thought this was all really odd.

Can anyone explain this curiousity or is it the wayward hamsters again?

it's been hacked into by the the Hitler the half jew and his band of christian nazis.

funny thing is that it seems ok until I log in then it becomes slow and performs in an unstable manner.

Let us know what you find out and start a thread here stating its been fix because I can't waste my time waiting for pages to load.

Errant Code?

Someone's hacking us and it's been building up for days as this person works his way further into the main frame.

It's the Anti Burning Man

and I wouldn't be suprise if the code has made its way into the pages and on to our computers because I'm working with Trendmicro on why is my computer having communications being diverted through a port that is using UDP for my internet. HTTP is a form of TCP not UDP. And I didn't even close port 80! You tell me. I found this out when I put a strick protocal rule of closing everyport I don't need.

???
