New Article about the TOS

I'm not sure if there's something new in the Terms of Service, or this is just a new article. How I read it, the author is upset that BMORG owns the rights to the name "Burning Man" and the BM logo. I'm not sure I understand the indignation, to be honest.

There are some rights concerns in the wording, but mostly if you think the org wants to screw you over. I think it's more along of lines of heavy handed tactic to help protect the communities work from being exploited by commercial ventures.

Yes, I mean they could do a lot with this, but it's a question of whether or not they will. I'd like to think they just want to prevent things like "Girls Gone Wild, Burning Man Edition!" from happening.

It is. If one of your principles is "decommodification", then one of your interests is to keep your creation from being commodified. And you do that by copyright and trademark.
