Looks like someone reset the webcam and cleaned the lens.. The Focus is even better.... Yippie......

I think Taz starts his hibernation for the winter around September when he starts gathering nuts and provisions, and doesn't come out of hibernation until May or June. It can take him weeks to shake off his winter sleep before he gets moving again. We may not see this camera working until July.

I have a general playa condition question:

I've read that some years the playa floor is in great condition for Burning Man, and others it's going to be really dusty. Can someone clue me in as to how that comes about? Not enough precip/too much precip?

Looks like they moved the cam inside. Much better way to keep it happy!

I think our beloved Gerlach webcam may be history. Does anyone have any idea what is happening with this?

I used to love to click on this before sunrise and watch the sun come up over the mountain. It was a great way to start the day!
