We are bringing AWESOME SOUND, is there a camp we can join?

Hey everybody!!! A couple friends and I are getting together and have access to a ridiculously AWESOME sound system (read: TURBOSOUND, 24" sub cabinets + tops + monitors ).

We are made up of like 5-6 friends.. a couple of which are excellent house pro DJ's (and... my friend and I are not professional DJ's, but we can play very chill/world music whenever we dont want to go all out and crazy, cause we know rest and comfort and chilling is important)..

We are going to bring our sound and generator to setup, but we don't have the ESSENTIAL stuff to COMPLETE the camp, such as a shade-structure, ambiance or theme for people to actually be attracted to the place. To me, those elements are highly important.. I mean why would someone just go and dance in front of speakers with nothing else setup, right? hehe

So we want to join forces with a theme camp that has a shade structure at least and NEEDS sound. The sound system is actually going to be very powerful and clean sounding so it can be very amazing for large crowds.. it's even good enough for a theme camp that's on the esplanade

Anyway guys, let me know what camp you're a part of, what you guys are like and we can figure these things out in the thread!

Hey.. so they have sound but they dont have ambiance.. same deal, hehe i dont think this will work.

At least they have the domes. For a few hundred dollars the lighting and ambiance can be made. I guess it depends on how much you want them to provide. Perhaps look to pull another group in willing to set up the rest. At this point you may not find a well put together camp that hasn't worked out these details for themselves unless they run into some disaster, you'll probably have to work with a few other groups to build a camp.

I think our setup can be anywhere because we're not gonna play 24/7 and this is burning man, we can talk to our neighbors and see what they enjoy or don't enjoy.

Sound policy is enforced 24/7 whether or not you play 1 hour or 10 hours a day.. Talking nice really doesn't work when you think you above the rules of the city..

Hey, Sand By The Ton was a major blast... well, except the super crowded midway that was all asses and elbow for a time... But really, the sand art was amazing and the issues with little power in the 1st room (spacecowboys and the surfer) was a nice chill area..
