Join the March of the Golden Calf

Having tested the theory on a small scale last year, this year the entire Golden Cafe ( www.goldencafe.org ) will be marching forth, our golden calf carried aloft before us, art cars and liquor following, on FRIDAY THE 4th. We have with us shield bearers who can slot their shields together to form mobile bars, and a variety of other tricks to support a growing horde of drunken revelers and vehicles. If you or your camp would like to join us in our messianic quest for a good time, please let me know ASAP so that we can plan accordingly.

Marching forth. From where to where? Are you tossing the calf into a glimmering conflaguration, or just the cafe?

From the Golden Cafe at 7:30 and Esplanade to a series of locations to be determined, based on which other camps want to participate. This year we expect to return to the cafe by sundown, but I expect that the 2010 march will conclude somewhere on the deep playa.

Which camp are you with Ugly Dougly? 3&F is our old camp address...Oobleck. Saddest part about not being there this year is not being across the street from KFC camp and their moonshine and smoked/fried bologna sandwiches. But we're not too far, so I'm sure I'll be there darn near every morning.

We around 4:30 and C this year. Not sure if we are going to serve noodles friday, we might just serve drinks. Our usual plan is sundown. I would love it if you and your crew would stop by a little before to get us started!

One year we had a big papier mache bunny full of all our hopes and dreams which we burned with the man. That's teh primal way.

Perhaps Barbarian Camp could come up with something similar? Burning Dog?
