Looking for CDJ and mixer, Thursday from 5-9pm

Post by Isopop » Fri Aug 14, 2009 10:31 am

We are "The Spin Cycle" at 7:30 & Genome. Thursday night we are hosting a Hoop Jam under our massive 4200 sq. ft. shade structure. We have Speakers and monitors and everything to hook-up an ipod but Cheb-I-Sabbah and Janaka Selekta have generously offered to DJ for the jam. Unfortunately, we don't have proper DJ equipment.

In order to make this happen, I need to find:
2 CDJ Players
1 Mixer

If you can help, it would be HUGELY appreciated.

Thanks you!
Rich

You do realize that the ePlaya/3playa Meet & Greet is from 6 until 9 that night, and that's where ALL the cool kids hang out. Maybe you should start sometime after 9? I'm sure people can find their way in a drunken stupor from Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro, which is at 3:30 and D, to 7:30 and G.

It's a good thing that there's only one thing going on at a time at Burning Man. Otherwise the whole event could get really crazy. This way you can plan out your entire burn before you even leave home! Hooray!

I don't have much to offer for your setup, though. Good luck.

Haven't you ever noticed that every scheduled event worth attending happens on Thursday, between 6pm and 9pm? It's not a coincidence, Larry planned it out that way years ago.

Practice means you get into the performance... and we're the fuel masters. After dark, so I think I can swing both. I just will be wearing my darkwad fire gear.
