Rental Car or Personal Car?? I am sure it has been asked...
I went last year with some other people in an RV and this year just going with my girl. We are thinking maybe a rental car to save some total playa dust infiltration into my own car. What are the experiences with rental car returns into PDX. I would of course give it a good clean up......thoughts???

I wouldn't bring my own car, but then again I don't have one.
If you get a rental (my recommendation), make sure you clean and detail it super well. A lot of carwash places in Reno have "Burning Man" specials that seemed like a good deal to me. They send it through the wash 2-3 times and detail all the areas that rental car companies look.

Well, the OP did say "I am sure it has been asked..."
Might want to wait until you get all the way back to Portland. A good detailing will make everything OK.
It also saves immensely on your car's wear and tear.
And NOT to be snarky, but:

You can seal up a car pretty well. Once your camp is set up there's no real reason to be getting in and out of the car - maybe to ride out a dust storm. Unless you plan sleeping in it you're probably ok.
My first 2 years I went with cars and neither got so dusty it was a problem for me. My 3d year I slept in my truck a few times and forgot to close the windows after I got up one day. THAT was a freekin' mess.
ETA: Your experience may be skewed by the RV experience. People coming in and out, doors open, dust blowing and tracking in.
