Seeking A Staff

Post by willholcomb » Mon Aug 17, 2009 11:30 pm

I'm supposed to meet a staff in the Nevada desert before sunset on September 2nd. I was wondering if someone in this community might be able to help me find the person who will be carrying it.

I have something to exchange them for the staff. I don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure we'll both leave the exchange satisfied.

The staff has a pedigree:

Code: Select all

  Fatherstaff: Gambit
    Grandstaff: Merlin
    Grandring: Thomas Covenant
  Motherring: Green Lantern
    Grandstaff: Joker
    Grandring: Sauron
One name for it is a haiku:

Code: Select all

  Chaos and power
joined with focus and purpose ―
      hair-trigger bazooka.
So, has anyone seen it or think they are supposed to make it? I feel like someone who deals with melted bronze and lives near San Francisco has a sense for where it is.

I'd really like it if this worked out. I watcher fire spinners at a concert a few weeks ago and I really liked how they could move objects around. I'd like to learn to move a staff.

Polls

I did not know that including a poll made the whole thing a poll. I thought the poll was just something cute to do at the end.

You may not have my staff. It is meant for your comely niece only. She alone has the power to make the magic flow.

Unfortunately, my comely niece is currently nine months old. It'll likely be a bit before she's properly able to wield your staff.

No staff, but I am bringing a lucky Shillelagh, not me or anybody I know in this picture, but the stick is coming for the ride! 8) If you are a geocacher, this needs to move on, I suppose we could swap for some swag?

Check out the shillelagh's travels.

Ha! We are totally in the Aiel waste! Don't know if I'm up to dancing the spears! LOL! I'm on Book 5, "The Fires of Heaven" this one is dragging a little, I'm only about a third of the way through. Although last night it started picking up again and I stayed up way too late! Nynaeve is starting to get pissy with Egwene in dream world. LOL!

i have never read the wheel of time....i probably won't either.

it looks as pathetic as Dungeons and Dragons, by the looks of the wiki description.

Try living life in the real world, not some recycled garbage that had no meaning to begin with.

yeah, it seems at times to crawl.....but, know he's setting up some good stuff with all that............

Book 11 for me was pretty slow, maybe just to much minutia............but, it's better than 9 and 10, IMHO..........

watch that Nynaeve, she's a pistol..........and, that nutty White tower..........

ahahahahahaahaa
