to all cat people and their allies, supporters and friends:

you are invited to Cat Show & Tell.

as cats go, on the playa, this is the main event. and it's easy. bring something that has to do with your cat -- a photo, story, souvenir, anything. then we will go around the circle, each person sharing what makes their cat so special.

or, come and be aloof. who needs Cat Show & Tell anyways? find me a sunny patch.

1:00 pm on Thursday at the Destiny Lounge. meow!

All right. I play-fight with my Little Monster. All in fun. On the couch, I grab him and he bites, claws and kicks my hand. Great fun.

So the other night, he hops up on the bed. I am half asleep, and I reach over for his soft fur.

And he bites, claws and kicks me! Hell of a way to wake up!

That makes me really sad...I had to put Big Mama down, last week.

And then her nephew, Dander, earlier this week.

Not needing a cat sitter is nice, sure, but not as nice as having my Mama around.

As for me, I'd love to bring my cats but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to reliably attach the EL wire to their fur.

This is Bucky representing Camp Cats!Cats!Cats! at 7:30ish and H. We serve white russians out of cat bowls if you can talk us into opening our bar: "The Scratching Post." Also Cat Yoga in the morning but I forget when. Come on by your feline-related playa experience needs.

My wife last year was introduced to an actual live cat last year at camp.

We will see you THursday for the sharing circle.

I'm glad y'all will be there, you're one theme camp I've always had a fondness for.

Even though I'm down to one cat, now, and lost my crazy cat lady title.

Well, still crazy, just not as many cats.

I was showing that video around yesterday, too. Awwwesome.
