Condition of the Playa for '09?? Mush or hardpack?

Can anyone working on an installation or BRC prep share their glimpse of playa conditions this year? Last year was my first time, and I was unpleasantly surprised with the 'soft serve' conditions. As you all know, it made biking and even walking (in certain platform shoes

) difficult. Any idea if we got the needed rainfall this year for hardpack?

Was up on july 4th.. its hard pack. Campers were all over the playa, so hopefully all the cars didn't fuck it up.
