Didn't suggest anything positive about underage drinking. Also didn't call you 'stupit'.

Let's say you run a popular bar on the playa. Do you card everyone that enters the area? Or do you card only the people that ask for a drink and look too young?

LEO is certainly out to get anyone that serves under age. That's fine with me.

You seem to be intentionally not understanding that there is a difference between a minor being present and a minor being served alcohol.

Assuming you disagree (you called me 'stupit' (whatever that means)). Please find one police report where someone was cited for allowing a minor into a bar area but NOT serving them.

Ignore this guy, he thinks I'm a cop and is just being a dick to me. But thank you very much for all the detail, I appreciate the help!

so show him you are not - take a photo of yourself with an Austrian newspaper with today's date...while not foolproof, I imagine that would be fairly difficult for a USA Cop to come up with on short order...

Actually, the real trick for a US cop would be to take a pic with tomorrow's newspaper. Here in Japan (and AZ) we are a day ahead, so we could easily post a pic of an 8/24 newspaper that you could see on the 23rd US time.

Wait, I'm the 24th of august here in Australia, what's that mean?

That is my point.

-It wouldn't be so difficult to have an AZ newspaper from the 24th in the US on the 24th
-It wouldnt be difficult to have an 8/24 newspaper in AZ on 8/23 in the US
-It would be near impossible to have a 8/24 newspaper in the US on 8/23

Consequently, if you are a boy in AZ it should be easy for you to have a newspaper that is dated a day earlier than it is in the US. While if you are a US cop, it would be hard to have an AZ newspaper from the future.

Thank you very much! That's what I was trying to say, but every time I put it into words it came out to be as long a freaking novel :P.
Thanks Pizzamancer.

Sorry, I'm worried that you're the Dick. Get it!

I'm just here to help my playa friends from becoming a statistic since we have been targeted in the past.

My mentality comes from when I was fourteen. I didn't go around telling those in the party that I was so I could blend into the crowd.

We Or I don't care that you're underage, but it does mean much to you.

Why?

as ygmir would say, Just Saying.

And what's up with the Dolls, they sucked even for a flash in the pan undergound band and I'm from the NY area.

Just weird for a 14 year old.

Dick?

OK, I'll bite

Now about your chaparone? Is it a woman maybe your mother, or guy maybe your father. how about your sister. I hope it's your sister, now you'll get more fish baiting her.

Come on let's us know?

Who's your chape, Chap!

If you have even the slightest incling that he might be a cop, then don't try to make arrangements to meet up with him and touch his private parts. There, that was easy.

Now, if he's really 14 and planning on attending next year with his mother, then help him with his excitement and make this first trip eventful for him.

If there is nothing inapropiate here, then there is nothing to be concerned about.

Now, lonelyplanetboy, bounce around some other threads here and get involved a bit. Oh, and don't try to meet up with anyone here and ask them to touch your private parts!

Now, don't we all feel better?

I think I've gotten a feel for the forum and now I'll be popping up more around the place. Thanks for the mediation Shambala! (Comes off as sarcastic but I actually am thanking you :P.)

I'll gladly discuss with you my musical likings in the open discussion section but that's it, I'll no longer dignify your accusations by arguing in a thread I myself started. See you in Open Discussion.

Assuming that you really are 14, how the heck have you made it through 14 years without someone killing you? No, really. This is not a rhetorical question, I really need to know the answer to this mystery!

Okay, boys and girls, let's review our geography here.
Austria is smack dab in the middle of Europe. Australia is in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Austria is know for Alps and Mozart and exporting the Terminator. Australia is known for Kangaroos and Opera Houses and exporting Crocodile Dundee. I don't know what we'd prove by posting a picture of Lonely Planet Boy holding up an Austrian newspaper.

Oh and Austria is derived from the german for "east" and Australia is derived from the latin for "south."

To the OP,(original poster): If for some reason you wish to kill a thread, simply ask the mods,(moderators) to simply lock the thread. The thread will fall to the bottom of the stack of posts from disuse.

Sometimes a thread is hijacked with objectionable posts, and, sometimes it is neccessary to sink the ship to drown the rats onboard. We users here are generaly well meaning, but sometimes personalities are simply incompatible.

Sometimes a troll will deliberatly try to sabotage a subject. Sometimes a poster "doth protest too much." We learn in time to recognize trolls and their socks ( alternate identities). Most socks are intended for humerous effect and are harmless. I enjoy sock humor and will not out any sock. We tend to grow thick hides here, in time, to protect ourselves.

Ok, class is over. Everyone may return to the snarkiness and the lame humor.

Oh, no, I find the expression "lame humor" to be anti-disability and hateful.

My Miss Fishy, aren't we being a bit sensative on this? What do you suggest for a politically correct phrase? How about, "all inclusive snarkiness and funny stuff"?
