Ygmir, Bruno's is sooo.. last year.. go to the new MacDonalds at the corner of 1st and main in downtown Gerlach, take the kids on the outdoor play equipment. The new TGIF has a all day happy hour starting TODAY! try that also. (I love the buffalo new york wings) (oooh better yet, take a picicnic baskett to the park and eat under the water tower, smile for the camera!!)(updates every 60seconds)

And whats this about Simon riding a bicycle to burning man?

I'm so fucking outta here! (well 6 days or so) (hey, there arn't any kids around who might read my bad language, like 14 year olds...aaargggrhh)

Actually there are two starbucks in Gerlach this year, one in the new Albertson's market, they have a really nice counter and you can get the yummyist fresh baked donuts. And at the other end of town, Starbucks shares a building with Burger King. Oh and movie rentals, blockbuster will be open all night during the burn this year.

I like the 1/2 hour pizza delivery promise that "Pizza Hut" offers to any camp on the playa. And with the new cell phones they give you at the gate, just pound # 911 for direct connect and order a pizza.

Now these ain't no shitty new york pizza, this be california pizza...

I ended up having lunch at the Empire market.....seemed fitting......good cheeseburger.

nice trip to BRC and back today......another load on Saturday......

I wonder if even we could "team up" somehow?
I've no room, but, would pitch in gas money if someone would bring her up, or, maybe to where another burner can take her the rest of the way.

Sorry I've been absent from the Bar, I've been driving 2500 miles. Made a great new friend - War End from West Virginia. He's a great companion for the road.

Didn't get online all week which feels weird but I'm in Reno now and going into Black Rock tomorrow.

Built a sculpture this morning in Winnemucca. Kind of proud of it too. I can handle a jig saw with the best of them.

Tough night tonight - drove right past the spot where Caleb and I ran out of gas on our last night together. It was an unexpected route tonight so I was knocked off kilter a bit but it will be okay eventually.

Hope everyone is making it to the playa safely. I will look for as many of you as I can at BRC.
