methinks, though, I've made the mistake here......
this discussion should take place on the politics thread or somewhere else.......
I apologize to all for my part in the drift, this thread is for other stuff, IMHO..
and, I do mourn for Mr. Kennedy's passing, agree or not, he was a giant in his world.

The re-make is being filmed in the Detroit area as we speak, type, post in threads were not allowed to, and clean off from the dust. I personally loved that film and am anxiously awaiting its fall 2010 release.ygmir wrote:RED DAWN..........unjonharley wrote:Kinetic V wrote:Actor Patrick Swayze is dead at 57!

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Wow. Patrick Swayze AND Mary Travers gone. RIP you beautiful people. xoxoxo
About 4-5 days ago a really beautiful lime green praying mantis
took up residence in my lavender bush out on our patio.
I was happy to have him in my garden cuz they eat a variety of
pests. I smiled, picked him up, welcomed him to his new home,
and named him Fred...then he promptly bit me. They bite hard.
Today Fred died.
Baby RJ was in his walker outside and ran over Fred's little
lime green head who was sunning himself on the concrete.
RIP Fred.

Actor Henry Gibson, who played roles ranging from loopy poets to vengeful Illinois Nazis and cranky judges during a 40-year film and television career, has died at age 73, his representatives said Wednesday.
Henry Gibson had a role as a neo-Nazi in the cult movie classic "The Blues Brothers."
Gibson was a regular on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In," where he was known for popping up to read short, humorous poems during the show's 1968-71 run.

on Fred in the lavender bush, hoping he'll wake up, but he just
lays there. Poor thing. I was becoming quite fond of him. I imagine
little RJ will kill lots more bugs in his childhood. I'm definitely teaching
him that snails are useless critters and bad for our garden, and to
throw (smash) the snails on the pavement. I might even give him a
dime (quarter?) for each snail he kills.
RIP Fred.
RIP snails.
