Virgin Burner would like a little info

Post by Sparky Darky » Fri Sep 04, 2009 3:10 am

1. If I show up at the gate Friday night the 4th will I be able to get in? And are the tix $300.00?

2. Being late to arrive, is it ok to camp in my car (explorer) and is it frowned upon by others, should I bring the tent?
(I will supossed to be meeting others there but don't think I'll be able to find them at least the first night or maybe not at all.)

Sleeping in car is fine, but tent might be more comfortable IF you can seal it from the dust--every little openeing! You might bring an EXTRA sheet to put over your sleeping area (bag, blanket, sheet, etc) to keep the playa dust off your sleeping area (in car or tent) while you are out playing.

Check out the tickets for sale/transfer area & you'll probably still find folks with tickets to sale/transfer.

back from 3 days on the playa and I can say for certain that even with a prett well sealed tent you will get tons of dust in it!!!! And even having my car door open for no more that 30min the entire time the whole rental car got smothered in dust inside and out!
