That is me in the chair. Just after my Dom found the correct straw for my drink and before the nutella nipple attack.
The chair is a classic Belmont dentist/barber chair and has electric up and down. The tilt is manual and is the lever that is below the right arm restraint.
It was awesome delivering my meet and greet intro and speech from the confines of the chair.
This was my first bondage experience and my first attempt at leather work. It is surprisingly easy.
I thought of the concept for the chair out of the feelings of entrapment that one gets while one is having a hair cut. The whole thing of being restrained by the hair cut not being complete and the smock and how the stylist gets to control what direction you point so you have to use mirrors to check on your surroundings. I thought it would be interesting to build a chair where you were actually physically restrained while getting your hair cut to add to the already existing restraints. The original idea was to put hydraulic wheels on the bottom so during actual use in a salon the stylist could then move the person in the chair away from the mirrors and position them in whatever place in the salon deemed fitting. Once removed from the mirrors one would have to completely trust the stylist to deliver a good hair cut and let go of the security that the mirrors provide. All this I though of doing so I could trade the thing to a salon for free hair cuts for life. I figured that if a salon was the kind of place that would really be able to use the chair then they would always know what to do with my hair. The fact of the matter is that I don't really know how I want my hair cut and that a good funky salon would have a person who would just give me a good hair cut and not one of these middle of the road cuts that always come my way. However the task of finding a good hair cut is still mine as the Bondage Barber Chair will be coming back to BRC by demand and shall not be traded off for free hair cuts for life.
