Hi :)
My name's Ash, and I'm from Boulder, CO. Unfortunate circumstances caused me to miss BM '09 (I even had to sell my ticket! That was painful..), but I'm excited about BM '10 and I'm wondering how to find a camp to group up with? For '09, I was heading out a BM virgin with some friends, but for the coming year I'd like to really get involved for my first year.
I've googled a bit, but haven't come up with much. Anyone know of a camp/group heading out from CO?
Nice to meet you!

There's a section lower down in the forum called "regionals" check around down there for colorado. You can get on the email list by going to burningman.com and finding the regionals section there. There's a pretty active group, they have a regional burn every year.

The Co burn is most excellent I have heard from other Utah burners who attend. Maybe we'll make it there one day.

Definitely check out the Regional contacts for Colorado, we have 5 different contacts here:

I'm just starting to get involved with them myself having signed up with all 5...and I've met some of the best people from the Western Slope and Denver lists so far. Rumor has it there will be some new camps being created for 2010 so I'd get on those lists and keep an eye on the announcements. It's a shame you didn't get to go this year...but with next year being the 25th Anniversary and having a lot more time to prepare...your first burn should be awesome. Best of luck to you!
(If you can drive a bit, I've heard lots of good things about the Utah regional as well)
