Fuck, my dad has some kind of cancer, but he wasn't big on details... discovered through kidney and bone checks... again, not much fucking info. The SIL will go to the doctor with him on Friday to get the real scoop. I just can't do it. I know dad, he won't hang around if he will be in serious pain or if he can't have his cats.
Fuck, fuck, fuck. I fucking give up. I don't want to care about anyone anymore. They just die. Fuck cancer, fuck death. Fuck.

my father is dying from cancer of the esophagus.
it is a major reason i have had to take a good hard look at my life, and how we all intertwine to make a tapestry known as family.
i wish i had fucking known this earlier.
fuck. now i'm going to have to use some of the napkins i just stole from wendy's so my friends don't see me crying.
my friends here on e-playa won't make fun of me when i do that, but most of you live on the west coast, where the stiff upper lip isn't beaten into you.

Fucking cancer - I guess it must be a function of my age but there are SO many around me that are fighting or just being diagnosed. I feel like I'm that one among many in front of a firing squad that just hasn't been hit yet.

Fucking fuck fucking cancer.
I got some really bad fucking news today.
Back story: Someone in my very immediate family has diabetes 2, had half his foot taken off 2 years ago, got a yucky infection in it, went into hospital 2 weeks ago. We stressed for a week prior cuz he/we thought they would take the other half of foot. He had surgery and THANK YOU GOD they didn't take his foot. He's still not well 8 days after surgery. He has been having problems with nausea for past 2 months, can't eat, has nausea and other stuff. Today he had a CT scan and they have found a low density mass in his colon.
Nobody in our family knows right now except for me and his mom. We're very worried. We'll know more tomorrow when the doctor comes.
Fuck cancer.

Addendum to my most recent post: I have a very strange feeling inside, and it's strong and comforting in a weird way. I am feeling very positive for some reason, so I am taking it as a good sign. Before, when close loved ones got cancer, I was positive for the most part, yet fear consumed me inside. This is different this time. There is no fear. I am feeling great hope and faith that this time it will be different. He will be a survivor. What you said, AntiM? My neighbor just said the same thing to me outside 5 minutes ago. Things are different than what they were 30 years ago and 9 years ago. So, it's time to put on my cheer-leading outfit again and get out my pompoms, and help keep everyone positive and hopeful. Cuz that's what I do best when things like this happen in our family. I sometimes think that's why the Love of The Universe put me on this Earth.
Fuck you, cancer!! You're not going to win this time!!
*Smiles strongly, waves pompoms, jumps in air, does the splits, lands on butt*

It sucks, my heart goes out to you.
Got a phone call this evening from my Mom, her husband had a heart attack today. He is stable and in the hospital in Reno. And here I fucking sit, with my own heart issues. Needless to say she ripped me a bit.
Fuck, I wish I was home.
This sucks.

I'm wondering if all this cancer and heart disease has something to do with the food we're eating. It's high time we found a cure for cancer but it would be even better if we found the causes. Just what is it causing all this disease around us.
