Hello
Hello
Hello everyone
I've been lurking about looking at this site for ages and I realllly want to come to 2010 Burning Man. I need to sort some logistics and financials out but hopefully I will have enough cash-flights and then hiring RV isn't cheap....I'll be coming on my own though so is it easy to make new friends? Don't want to be a Billy No Mates all week.
Hope you're all having a good day (I am slightly hungover at work sadly)
Dis xx

No-one worth possessing can, quite, be possessed
Don't think camping would be for me realllly and I'd still have to hire a car to get there anyway so I may as well just hire an RV thing-I'm not sure how RVs work though or anything so I'll have to do some reading up on the technicalities. Yeah, I hope I can come too, ideally I'll do some travelling and see Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles while I'm over there but it depends on the money.
Thanks for the welcome :D I can bring bacon-streaky or back bacon? xx

Be sure to "really" read the survival and first timers guides......get lots of info....read the archives or past posts here relating to conditions, etc.........
the environment is "very" different than where you live......
Be prepared, for some "snark" as/if you start posting here.......but, hang in there, most of it is in good fun.......

Ok-I'll remember the bacon :)
I'm definately going to read some of the pages again and do some proper research when I'm back from work so I get an idea of what I need to bring-so far I've worked out that gallons of water is vital! Do you know how many litres are in a gallon as I don't know what a gallon is? Don't worry if not, I'll google it. Yeah the environment here is v different-we've not even had a proper summer again this year and now its like winter. What bit of the USA are you from?
I'll try not to irritate anyone and avoid snarkiness if I can xx

Do your rv reservation early--they "sell" out fast.
