The Bar... Volume#2
ya know....why is it that Sundays are notoriously SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
It took me 2 hours from getting out of bed to get to the coffee pot....then it took me another hour to get first cup of now cold coffeee down the hatch....did it wake me up....hahhaa ya right? NOT.....
My strangest and latest quandry....
When a family member says..."you talk about BM to much"....
What really makes this any different then, perhaps listening to your SIL talk about get rich schemes non-stop or how your aunt talks about her crazy cats non-stop or how you grt. aunt talks about her church group all the time?
Really, why is it that we listen to all this gobblygook for years and years...then we go to BM, and when together with a BM group, the "others" are there, only to say at a later date....its to much?
define "too Much"?
I think my dtr is just pissy cause we never have as much energy to pull off flantastic halloween sets...but funny part is...I dont see her up here building halloween sets either....

I have met Da Mule...he isnt a very Big Mule in stature, but bigger then GODZILLA in personality!
Hello everyone, ok I tried to post in THE BAR but when I hit submit it knocked me off...so FUCK it. I will be here, drop by every once in awhile, Ill try to tooo!
Really cool thing happened yesterday...We got a new Truck...well new to us.
My x-hub, has had a horrid year on finances and hasnt been able to pay CS for my daughter on time if at all. Calls me up and asks me if I want his truck in lue of his finances being so shitty.
So yup, we got ourselves yet another truck...hahaha
I do have to laff as our back yard and front yard kinda look like a truck sales yard.
Titwi has his truck, I have my truck, Playa frog is a truck, BBSue gave me her truck, now we have another truck...geeze.
TRUCKS R US.
Now is the time to re-evaluate the TRUCKS.
We need one for hauling the camper 6280 lbs, one for hauling the equipment trailer ( Dr. Pepper trailer) approx. 8500 to 10,500 depending on which way...to BM is FULL of alcohol!
The playa frog is street legal/registered/insured, but cant go over 5mph without over heating...( DID AWESOME on the playa) But stranded Zulegoona and I coming in from the airport changed the water pump, the hoses, flushed the radiator...blah blah blah...
If it wasnt for OneeyedDick the playa frog would not have been at BM at all! He took his Prick you Pine off its trailer and put the playa frog on.
What a true friend. Thank you Dicky!
The playa frog did exceptionally well out there...It was actually able to haul up to 30 people!!!! and still not over heat to bad....stopping for art tour...and (truck to cool off) that was actually perfect to give peeps time to goof off around the awesome art stuff's.
So the new truck is a dodge...hmmm My first as I am truly a chevy gal. But its a 2001 and only 106K, miles on it...lets see that would give us about 1500 more trips to the playa....
Titwi's is pushing the Daisey's at 230K.....
My truck is a baby...with new engine at only round 40K.
OH..and Our Garden died night before last.... RIP
Didnt notice as it was a busy day, (we have sprinkler system in there so its auto watered) but last night as I was gonna throw together a salad, needed tomatoes...ran out with a headlamp, Titwi and I stood there in horror...wtf?????
Oh well, we were waiting for most of what died to die so we can turn it and start the green house!
Yay!
Boy , Im chatty kathy today???

always enjoy your chats, pinemom! hooray for the new truck ... are you going to make anything out of it? i only saw the playa frog parked, but it looked great.....
i find myself wanting to build an art car .... i have all these spare parts lying around from old stuff i tore apart, and so could make something very machine-y. my newest toy is an old TV tube from a 13" black & white TV i took apart yesterday ... how i want to use it on something! but yeah, i know, if it breaks it's not good ....

Oh yeah, Crypto. That's a very cool idea. Simon would be great at pimpin' too. I'll help out anyway you need. Let's all make sure Crypto has wheels to go. Ones that are sweet and mechanically sound! I would totally love to help with decor that is useful for you. I've reupholstered boats and RVs so have the experience for redoing cushions, seats or whatever.
This is a project I really would love to help out on. Count me in.

ygmir that's a safety third pic, for sure! What happens when those posts get knocked out by some kid on a skateboard or a big dog chasing a cat???
On a serious note, I had a cousin killed this way when the jack slipped. Ross was on a lonely road in the far north and being twenty years ago there were no cell phones. People went looking for him when he didn't return at the appointed hour. I think he probably died a long, slow miserable death at 34 and with three young children and a young wife left behind. He scratched a message in the gravel with a stick.
I loved the picture anyway, ygmir - just making note of the safety issue. But let's have a work party to fix up this van. Sounds like fun to me. I can do stuff from a distance if I have specifications for what's needed.

egad, yes, of course it's safety third..........how else would we work on something?.......
dang, sorry to hear the story of your cousin........what a total drag....
it's interesting to note how many of us "get by" with that sort of thing......and live to laugh about it, but, a few don't......
at times, I chalk it up to: "sometimes you're just not lucky"..........
dang anyway...........
I'm glad to hear you got home safe and sound.......and, get to go on another adventure.....and, if you get to stop and see Simon, well..........all the more fun, I'm sure.......

oh geez, I totally missed Pinegranny's truck story earlier today. Wow, you got stuff goin' on there. Maybe you could sell TITWI's for a few bucks and he could have the newer Dodge.
I hadn't heard about all the adventures with getting the Playa Frog to the playa - good ol' Dick, he's a handy guy to have for a friend - til he turns his penis on and burns stuff!
I heard the Playa Frog survived though.
(Gosh darnit, everyone met DaMule except me and I really wanted to.)
