Baby Wipes/ other disinfectant moist towletts
BIG LIFESAVER, like taking a shower to get that playa dust off in less than a minute. I know it leaves a ton of trash so HAUL IT OUT do not leave it for others to pick up. Does anyone else agree? Disagree?

I've never used them. I just take a shower. I think I'd rather be a little dirty, than covered in like...a film. Oh, and insert a joke about how nothing will get me clean, blah blah blah.
I did find some at my local camping store, not baby wipes but bigger, thicker, and they do OK.
I also have a No Rinse body wash thing I've yet to test.
Always have had a showering option of some sort at burns/gatherings.

I got some that are used in hospitals for bed bound patients, they are larger and are a bit nappy. With a spray bottle of diluted Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap and one of water I was able to stay clean. I know it creates trash but it is worth it. Reduced my greywater which was more important to me. And I didn't feel like I had a film.

I used Adventure Medical Kits Fresh Bath Wipes that I picked up at REI. They worked great. I used a normal towel to dry off and then put the used Fresh Bath wipes in a ziploc freezer bag. I'll use the same thing next year, between visits to the Human Carcass Wash (if I work up the nerve to visit them)
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.
A whore's bath on Saturday night with a basin, a canteen full of water, a washcloth, and a medium sized towel works fine. When you are done, put medium towel in basin to soak up water and simply hang up to dry out. My personal pattern is hands and arms, face and neck, legs, back, then feet, and lastly privates. For my back, I wet the middle of the towel and flip it around my back to scrub while the washcloth is soaking before I finish with feet and privates. If pressed for water, just do hands, face, pits and privates.

Oh god. Now I'm flashing back to my train trip home from Reno and the creepy guy telling the slightly less creep guy about how he washes himself every morning in the sink, head, ass and pecker.

I use wipes. I don't have the space for water and shower, and shower gray water, or gray water evap system. Wipes are not the largest contributor to my trash haulout volume (which would be recyclable bottles I froze water in) Showers are nice, but right before putting a dusty body into a cleanish bed, do non-wipers take a shower? I think that's when wipes are greatest.

wipes
You gotta have wipes! They help with avoiding skin problems from the playa dust, and keep you smelling so fresh and so clean clean... or at least not quite as ripe!
We toss out the dispenser they come in and just bring the wipes in a ziplock to cut down on bulky trash.

Remember- No baby wipes in the porta-potties. They seriously fuck up the bodily waste handling system. Zip lock and trash them, burn them or whatever but please do not drop them in the loo.
I use a solar shower bag and it is so awesome. Did the baby wipe thing and did not have the lasting effects that a shower does.

Last year it was all baby wipes all the way.
This year I'm thinking it'll be the two party sponge washing system, over a small basin. (You wash mine, I'll wash yours )

Good to know my theory has been test by the experienced!
Yeah I was thinking spray bottle, like Windex comes in (is that what you mean by garden sprayer?) and wash cloth.
I like the idea of using a towel to dry the water faster. I've been thinking about taking taking a dark colored towel leaving one end in the gray water pond, and nailing the other end to something so that it makes a wick for water to evap out of.

A garden sprayer is used for pesticides. So you never want to use a used one--you don't know what's in there. If you get a metal one (and that's hard to find) you can paint it black and heat it up all solar...

Spray Natural Hand Sanitizer
I bought some of this stuff. It's pretty nice:

Doesn't replace baby wipes (which are a great price at Costco by the way:
