Burners with storage space...
For overseas burners that have to lug their gear out to the U.S. I've been wondering what to do with my new garage, that's too small for my truck. On the last thread I visited, it became clear. I'm willing to give my extra space up for out of country burners. Not sure what kind of legal papers to. File, to insure your stuff, but willing to go through the process. Can't store a bus, but got blank space for a camp. Any other burners willing to extend a hand? Payment should be strictly beer.
Just a thought....

Fred Hageyman (Hageymon?) stored a lot of stuff for overseas burners when he ran the BRC International Burner Hostel. Eventually all that work pre- and post-burn, plus the hassle with the neighbors got to him and he quit. (Still attends the event.) Just out there as something you might want to be aware of.

I guess that a nice checklist of items, pictures of them (digital), and a date to throw them away if they are not used or moved for a couple of years would be wise precautions.

My friend Paula introduced me to him, at his house in Sparks...assuming this is the same guy. Thanks for the heads up! I'm willing to take on the headache... met a lot of cool folks from other countries, and I heard enough stories of lugging shit out here. So, until I burn out, I can do it.theCryptofishist wrote:Fred Hageyman (Hageymon?) stored a lot of stuff for overseas burners when he ran the BRC International Burner Hostel. Nice thought...
How much space?
How much beer?
What brand of beer?
......interesting.
I'm under the impression that BM is 'good' until 2012. That represents a lot of shipping back and forth between now and then. Anyone know the deal re the contract between BMorg and BLM/Nevada?????

BM has a ranch, a mere 10 miles from the playa. But, for the heavy shit, that's where we truck drivers come in. Its definitely a sight to see!
